Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England, 1985, Aerial Photograph Project (Dartmoor) - Dartmoor Pre-NMP (Cartographic). SDV319854.

Deserted settlement, visible on aerial photograph in possession of W. R. Bridgewater, Beacon, Thorndon Cross, Okehampton. February 1978. Recorded, includes field bank at SX53388980 and group of four lynchets at SX53408942. Likely also associated with SX58NW/100. Other details: Aph=12 169/hunting surveys.

This site was considered for designation as a Scheduled Ancient Monument during the Monument Protection Programme. The programme ended before the entire list of sites was successfully scheduled so this is included on a local list of Nationally Important Sites.
