Summary

Field name given as 'burror close' in ta.(no 967) (tm. Ta). Vis=17/9/1992 (simpson and noble). The current field name is river field, and the fields numbered 967 and 966 on the tm are now one. The former field boundary between these fields ran along the upper part of a steep slope, n of it, ie in tm field 967 there are various low mounds possibly the result of some sort of quarrying activity, possible shallow pits are visible near the stream in tm field 966.
