Cropmarks which have formed over a levelled bank and infilled ditch of a medieval to 19th century field boundary are visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2010, to the south of Lambpark Farm, Upottery. The linear field boundary is northeast to southwest aligned and comprises a cropmark bank flanked on its western side by a probable cropmark ditch. The cropmarks do not correspond with any field boundaries depicted on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map of the 1880’s-90’s, so had probably passed out of use by this time. The Parish Tithe map is possibly un-surveyed here, so it is not possible to determine whether the field boundary was extant by this time.
