A field boundary of potential medieval date is visible as an earthwork bank on aerial photographs of 1948 and 1971, at Higher Luxton Farm, Upottery. The earthwork does not correspond with any field boundaries depicted on the Parish Tithe map of 1838-48, so had probably passed out of use by this time.

Narrow ditch running cross-spur with bank (probably old boundary) crossing it perpendicularly seen on an ap.(aph, r. Palmer). Vis=17/9/1992 (simpson and noble). The cropmarks represent a remnant boundary running e-w surviving as a bank about 0.30m high this is cut by a ditch running n-s which may also be a former boundary.

A field boundary of potential medieval date is visible as an earthwork bank on aerial photographs of 1948 and 1971, at Higher Luxton Farm, Upottery. The earthwork field boundary is gently curvilinear in shape and northeast to southwest aligned. The earthwork does not correspond with any field boundaries depicted on the Parish Tithe map of 1838-48, so had probably passed out of use by this time.
