Vis=02/09/1992 (reed and dixon). There was a pit in this field against the e hedgebank which was filled in some years ago. This is now visible as a slight depression, otherwise no features were observed. This field is adjacent to tanhouse farm which has a stream running to the west of the farm - this may have been the site of the tannery.
