An enclosure boundary of possibly recent origin was identified from aerial photography of 1948. Assessment of this and later aerial imagery suggests that it was probably the remains of a field boundary of medieval to 19th century date.

Earthwork enclosure and boundaries described as possibly recent origin, identified on ap.(aph, palmer).

Assessment of all available aerial photography from 1948 onwards and imagery generated from remote sensing techniques suggests that the recorded enclosure boundary was probably the remains of a field boundary of medieval to 19th century date, as depicted on the Ordnance Survey First Edition map of circa 1880-1890. As such it was not transcribed by the survey.
