Summary

Hut built into corner formed where the north-western section of enclosure wall meets the reave. Measures 5.5 by 4.2 metres diameter; walls 0.8 metres high by 2.5 metres wide. Rubble interior. No obvious entrance.

Full description

Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., (Feb 1992) (Report - Survey). SDV277946.

Hut circle at SX54277884. Internal diameter 4.2 metres. Coursed wall 1.4 metres wide, 0.8 metres high. Annexe on east side measures 3.9 metres north-south by 2.1 metres east-west. Doorway to the east. Hut is situated in the angle between reave (MDV19956) and northern boundary wall of enclosure (MDV4162).
