The immediately to the south of the enclosure (plot 100) is named as Stoneburrow in the Tithe Apportionments for Luppitt, suggesting earthwork survival in this area.

The visible cropmarks correspond with depicted field boundaries.

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

The enclosure earthworks correspond to a plot named Hundred Acres depicted on the tithe map. The north-eastern bank also corresponds to a track and the south-west bank is not shown. The plot immediately to the south of the enclosure (plot 100) is named as Stoneburrow in the Tithe Apportionments for Luppitt, suggesting earthwork survival in this area.

The enclosure earthworks and the north-eastern bank correspond to extant boundaries on aerial photographs of the 1940s.

Former field boundaries of probable medieval to post-medieval date are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs on the west facing slopes south of Mattys Cross, Hartridge, Luppitt parish.
The boundaries correspond with those depicted on the Ordnance Survey First Edtion 25inch map, and were visible as extant boundaries on aerial photographs of 1947, but were removed in the second half of the 20th century. As such they were not transcribed as part of the NMP survey.

Environment Agency, 2021, University of Exeter Understanding Landscapes Project - Lidar visualisation (Cartographic). SDV366001.

Earthwork banks up to 10m wide are visible enclosing a rectilinear area approximately 75m by 52m in size. Banks of similar width are visible extending as linear earthworks from the north-east and south-west corners of the enclosure for 144 and 95m respectively.

Horner, B., 2024, Lidar interpretation (Personal Comment). SDV366090.

A rectilinear enclosure and associated banks, possibly field boundaries, are visible as earthworks on the Unlocking Landscapes lidar visualisation. The morphology of the visible earthwork might support an interpretation of a later prehistoric date. The enclosure earthwork and north-east linear field boundary bank correspond to a field and track depicted on the parish Tithe Map for Luppit and the Ordnance Survey First Edition 25 inch map, and remain extant as boundaries visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s. The southernmost bank is not depicted on the historic maps and was therefore cleared prior to the 1840s. The boundaries are not depicted on subsequent Ordnance Survey maps.
