Large collection of very poorly documented flints collected from woodbury common. A large percentage said to come from field centred at sy034843 which was ploughed post-1940, but this provenance is uncertain (mus).

A poorly documented large collection of flints from ‘Woodbury Common’ is housed at the RAM Museum Exeter. A large percentage of the flints are said to have derived from a field centred at SY 034 843, which was ploughed post 1940, however, this provenance is uncertain. The collection includes cores, scrapers, Bronze Age arrowheads, and a fragment of a polished white flint Neolithic axe. The grid references given lay within the heathland survey area.
