Building depicted on the circa 1840 tithe map. The contemporary tithe apportionment records plot 81 as Barn Yard etc. Plot 77 to the north, is recorded as Old House Mead.

Current field name is chapel field. In the se corner of the field is a platform approximately 10 x 20 metres and up to 0.50m high, partly terraced into the slope.
