Two curvilinear earthwork banks, circa 2 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s. They do not correspond to the location of any of the field boundaries depicted on the available historic mapping, although they are broadly in keeping with the layout of the field pattern to the south which is characterised as enclosures based on medieval strip fields. The banks are tentatively interpreted as the remains of medieval field boundaries that became disused by the mid-19th century, and that were previously recorded as cultivation terraces.
