'Boundary stone' indicated on 1906 historic map and on later (1969) editions.

(06/01/1997) SX 66506925. A fallen stone formerly marking the boundaries of Holne and Buckfastleigh parishes at the foot of an openwork approximately 500m E of Ryders Hill. The undressed granite post measures 1.71m long and is 0.36m wide. The letter H has been inscribed on what is now the E face.
