Des=parish checklist/south brent. Des=worksheet/r. Robinson(-/12/1967)in parish file. Quickbeam hill, row of ten boundary stones. Runs n from the 'ermington manor' pile of stones across left lake mires and up the slope of quickbeam hill until the ridge of meynell's bank is reached. Mostly of the pillar type of stones, but only one shows feather-and-tare cutting marks. The example at sx654645 is supported by a group of smaller stones and is several hundred metres w of 'knatta barrow pool'.(this one shows the drill marks). The stone at sx654646 is not pillar type, but is a lower uncut stone of uncertain shape. No evidence of when these stones were erected.(crossing?)vis=-/12/1967 (robinson) details of stones given.(worksheet).
