Summary
A hut circle on the very steep east flank of Conies Down, 275 metres east of the tor. The site survives as a levelled circular platform, 2.4 metres in diameter, with a revetment, 0.5 metres high, forming the west (upslope) side. A low stony rim marks the east edge. There is no obvious entrance.

Full description

Hut circle at SX59177919. Internal diameter 4.0 metres. Rubble bank wall 1.8 metres wide, 0.6 metres high. Part of unenclosed dispersed settlement.

(19/09/1994) SX 59187914. A hut circle on the very steep east flank of Conies Down, 275 metres east of Conies Down Tor. The site survives as a levelled circular platform, 2.4 metres in diameter, with a revetment, 0.5 metres high, forming the west (upslope) side. A low stony rim marks the east edge. There is no obvious entrance.
Several other hut circles (SX 57 NE 103, 105, 108, 109, 110) and a cairn (SX 57 NE 106) lie within a 300 metre radius of this feature on the same slope.
