Summary
Largest hut in the settlement south of the Hart Tor Brook, near the eastern enclosure wall. Excavated by the Dartmoor Exploration Committee in 1896 and described by the Ordnance Survey in 1950 and Gerrard in 1992 (see main record). Roughly 10 metres in diameter. Clearly visible on the aerial photographs and lidar data.

(08/06/1950) Hut A. Double walled type, diameter 10m, walls 1.6m wide, 0.7m high. Possible entrance to the south-east. Excavated by the Dartmoor Exploration Committee.
(This is assumed to be hut A as it is the largest hut; none of the others are identifiable as the Ordnance Survey (and previous authors) do not give grid references or annotated plans.)
