Full description
Bowman, A. C., Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV14682.
Babbacombe. Limestone. Operated by palk in 1858, producing 13,500 ?tons. Hunts mineral statistics for 1858 state 'much used in torquay and exeter. Used for the assize hall at taunton and exported for lime. Price for lime 1s 1d per ton at ships side' (bowman).
