Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1980, SX57SE106 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV220051.

(30/07/1980) At SX56457128 is a modern shelter, 2 metres in diameter. Surveyed at 1:10 000 on MSD.

Site visited on 14th May 1992. Military shelter atop the north length of enclosure boundary. Oval 3 metres by 2 metres internally. Defined by drystone wall 1 metre wide, 0.8 metres high. Clearly post-dates the enclosure and is of fresh appearance. May have been built on top of an existing hut.
