In the 1840s, seventeen new houses were planned for Leat Street, which was built up over the course of more than a century. Close inspection reveals that some terraces are considerably older than others. In the late 19th century ten more houses were erected in Leat Street, including the new passageway entrance to Harmony Place. Other details: Figures 1-2.
