An earthwork bank enclosure of uncertain date and function is visible on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, to the northwest of Stopgate Farm. The sub-oval shaped earthwork is located on gentle northeast facing slope, measures approximately 40m in length by 33m in width and comprises a broad low bank of up to 12m in width. It remains clearly visible as an earthwork banked feature on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016.
