Possible cultivation terraces or lynchets of medieval or post-medieval date are visible as earthwork banks on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, to the south of Lower Pithayne Farm. The two curvilinear and parallel earthworks are broadly east to west aligned, measure up to 10m in width and are sited on moderate southeast sloping ground. They remain visible as earthworks on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016.
