House shown on Tithe Map/Apportionment as ‘Bond’s’ and described as a house and orchard (SMR). This may be the building shown but not named at this location on the Ordnance Survey 1890 1:10560 map (Sheet 59SW). The 1890 map shows a trackway running from the building southeast across the common to Hillplat Cottage (now Bucehayes Cottage). The site lies to the west of the survey area.
