Small enclosed area on the common now containing a modern house called Higher Quantock. Previously site of Quantocks House, garden and meadow shown on the Tithe Map (SMR). At least one additional building (to south of the present house) is shown on the Ordnance Survey 1890 1:10560 map. The enclosure is excluded from the survey area. The 1890 Ordnance Survey map shows a path leading east from the enclosure into the survey area which survives on the ground as a hollow way at least 2 metres wide; it is not shown on the modern Ordnance Survey 1:2500 map.
