PLYMOUTH FORTRESS SURVEY, 1992, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV27236.

Vis=1992 (pye) a square flat-roofed concrete and brick structure built c 1903 with another searchlight to the south (o2); probably related to the minefield(s) between the shore and the breakwater. Has a broad opening on the seaward side and a door at the rear. Access originally via a bridge from south. Now derelict and inaccessible; appears to be in good condition, though exposed to coastal erosion in medium term.(plymouth fortress survey).
