ACE Archaeology Club, 1999, Winkleigh Airfield Survey (Un-published). SDV20447.
The survey of Winkleigh Airfield by ACE Archeaology Club in 1999 compared the 1945 plan with surviving structures. At the 'sick quarters' Site 8, no structures remain. The site originally included a picket post, mortuary, barrack and ablution blocks in addition to the sick quarters.
Now redeveloped for housing. Other details: Sites 276-281.
