Horner, W., 1995, RAF Winkleigh (Worksheet). SDV357491.
RAF Winkleigh dispersed accommodation. Huts are recorded in and around the grounds of Winkleigh Court at SS634083. The Devon Couty Council mapbase records original buildings still standing at SS63350836 and a few small structures in the gardens of the house.
ACE Archaeology Club, 1999, Winkleigh Airfield Survey (Un-published). SDV20447.
The survey of Winkleigh Airfield by ACE Archeaology Club in 1999 compared the 1945 plan with surviving structures. Only three buildings and 11 concrete bases remained at Site 3 to the north of Winkleigh Court.
