St. Lawrence parish church. Early w steeple with short spire. All but rebuilt by j. D. Sedding in 1872. Early 14th century piscina and sedilia. Pulpit from ashburton with chalice foot. Wooden eagle lectern said to have been made by thomas prideaux as present from bishop oldham of exeter, 1505-1519. Early 15th century brasses to two sisters (pevsner).

Full description
FLETCHER, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV10257.
Vis=-/10/2000 (fletcher) floor repairs and addition of new tiles entailed lifting floor timbers and laying of concrete screed. Lifted boards revealed a clean, dry + clear void with no evidence of archaeological significance (fletcher).
