Summary
Part of the settlement to the south of the road. Hut circle within enclosure. Measures 7.9 metres in diameter internally and walls survive to a height of 0.5 metres and width of 1.8 metres. An entrance gap exists on the southern side of the circle and there is evidence of reuse within this circle; a smaller circular structure has been constructed within the hut on the southern side.

Full description
Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1950, SX57SE19 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV219145.
Hut circle DD measures 9.0 metres in diameter, with 1.5 metre wide walls, remaining to a height of 1.5 metres. Large, double walled type in good condition. The northern part of the wall includes a massive boulder. Entrance is on the south side and the stones standing on either side are still erect although both leaning. This hut circle stands within enclosure EE.

Hut circle located within enclosure, terraced into the hill slope of the simple plan and double orthostat walling type. The interior measures 7.6 metres in diameter and is defined by a 1.8 metre wide wall standing up to 0.8 metres high. A south-facing gap in the surrounding wall, lined with a slab on the western side represents the original doorway.
