Summary

Part of the settlement to the south of the road. Measures 2.6 metres in diameter internally and walls survive to a height of 0.5 metres and width of 0.7 metres. A possible entrance gap exists on the south-western side of the circle.

Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1950, SX57SE19 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV219145.

Hut circle Y is very small and of double walled type, composed of small turf covered stones, measuring 3.5 metres in diameter, with a 1.0 metre wide wall, remaining to a height of 0.35 metrer. Entrance position not certain but possibly on the west side. Condition is good.

Hut circle (SX55617496) within a large partially enclosed settlement. Terraced into the hill slope and is of the simple plan and double orthostat walling type. Interior measures 4.6 metres in diameter and is defined by a 1.4 metre wide wall standing up to 0.5 metres high, except on the west side where partial robbing has removed a length of the walling.
