Full description
McManamon, T.F., 1992, Lead Bolt Seal, Bampton (Worksheet). SDV357014.
A lead bolt seal was found in the field on south side of the South Molton Road. The seal was used to seal bundles of cloth being taken to the Bampton clothworkers. Date of seal unknown, as it was taken for identification and not returned to the finder.
The find was made a few years ago.
