World war ii activity is visible on an air photo on south common, south of south common lane consisting of a rectangular grid, each rectangle containing a small blob possibly a chimney stack. These rectangles are in two groups in two separate fields, one centred at st30860185 orientated n-s, the second centred at st31050192 orientated nw-se.

Vis=20/8/1993 (simpson and blackmore). Present owners of western complex were unaware of any wwii activity and haven't found any evidence for it. Both areas are now permanent pasture and now above ground features are visible.
