Old limekiln shown on os 6" (1891) map with a quarry marked just to the south, also visible on air photo (aph).

Exeter Museums Archaeological Field Unit, 1992 - 1993, Blackdown Hills Survey Archive (Archive - Survey). SDV324187.

19/8/1993 (simpson and blackmore) the present landowners report that all the quarries have been infilled in the past nine years. No evidence for the limekiln was found when filling in. The area is now in agricultural use.
