Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1950, SX57SE41, Hut circle 'M', 25/8/1950 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV276070.

(SX5659 7297) One of a group of 17 hut circles, given the letter 'M'. Remains of a large, double-walled type hut, diameter 9.5 metres, wall width 1.5 metres, height 0.2 - 0.5 metres. Remains are so scanty that the feature almost warrants the description 'site of'. Most of the wall has been pillaged for stone for the adjacent newtake wall. Condition poor. Impossible to say where the entrance was.
