Summary

Hut circle in poor condition measuring 6 metres in diameter with double orthostat and earthwork wall 1.4 metres wide, 0.5 metres high. Southern sector is of double orthostatic construction whilst the north survives as an earthwork. Low grass cover.

Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1950, SX57SE41 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV276070.

(SX 5650 7297) One of a group of 17 hut circles, given the letter 'N'. Double wall type, diameter 7.0 metres, wall width 1.5 metres, height 0.1 - 0.3 metres. These remains are even more fragmentary than those of Hut Circle M (). Most of the stones have been pillaged - there is only a short fragment of double-wall on the south-western side and the remainder of the wall is only traceable by odd stones and a very low turf bank. Condition very poor.

Diameter 7.0 metres, wall width 1.5 metres, height 0.1 metres. Remainder of wall is only traceable by odd stones and very low turf bank. Condition very poor.

Hut circle forming part of a partially enclosed stone hut circle settlement at Yes Tor Bottom, 1120 metres east-north-east of Criptor.
Diameter 6 metres. Double orthostat and earthwork wall 1.4 metres wide, 0.5 metres high. Southern sector is of double orthostatic construction whilst the north survives as an earthwork. Low grass cover.
