Part of the settlement to the south of the road. Small hut; measures 2.9 metres in diameter internally and walls survive to a height of 0.4 metres and width of 0.9 metres. A possible entrance gap exists on the south-western side of the circle.

Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1950, SX57SE19 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV219145.

Hut circle W is a small, double walled circle, composed of small granite boulders, measuring 4.5 metres in diameter, with a 1.0 metre wide wall, remaining to a height of 0.4 metres. It is in a fair condition, with a possible entrance on the western side where wall has been pillaged; there are no traces of an entrance in the rest of the wall.

Hut circle at SX 5560 7495 within a large partially enclosed settlement, terraced into the hill slope. It is of the simple plan and double orthostat walling type. Interior measures 3.0 metres in diameter and is defined by a 1.0 metre wide wall standing up to 0.7 metres high.
