Full description
Department of Environment, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV335507.
Batten's bridge. Carries minor road over the grand western canal; the canal was established under an act of 1796 and the halberton section completed in 1814. Brick english bond, with stone coping. Elliptical arch, skewed; brick string course, and round-headed coping stones to parapet; parts of the latter have been repaired (doe).
