"Old canal" marked. Runs from SS29340702 to SS30000656.

Notable for its use of inclined planes. Closed in 1902.

The Bude Canal (Holsworthy Branch). The longest tub-boat canal in England, the Bude Canal was built by James Green and opened in 1825. It has three branches. The Holsworthy Branch is dried-up but can be traced from the minor roads which cross it at Thornemoor, Parnacott, Chilsworthy and Holsworthy.
