Full description
Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England, 1992, Cornworthy Priory (Report - Survey). SDV346583.
To the east of the precinct area is a comparatively featureless area containing only 2 slight east-facing terraces and the lower parts of natural scarps. Also contains a spread, north-west facing scarp which continues the alignment of platform discussed on Subsheet 4. This feature, and the terraces, suggest that the area had a post-dissolution ornamental function
