Site occupies level hilltop site, coinciding with slight hollow and with a faint scarp along the west side. Extensive views to west and north.

Cropmarks of curvilinear ditches are visible.

Irregular single ditched enclosure measuring about 120m by 60m. Recorded from air as a cropmark in 1992.

The enclosure is also recorded as a soilmark on RAF aerial photo of 1950.

A ditch circa 2 to 5m wide is visible on aerial photographs of 1992 as a cropmark defining a roughly oval enclosed area up to circa 135m by 85m across.
The cropmark is interpreted as evidence of an enclosure of probable Iron Age to Roman date.
The archaeological cropmark is partly obscured on the eastern and northern sides by agricultural cropmarks.
No evidence of an entrance or internal features is identifiable.
