Pale curvilinear cropmarks interpreted as having formed over levelled ditches, circa 3.5m wide, are visible on oblique aerial photographs taken in 1959 and as dark cropmarks in 1992. The cropmarks form a sub-circular enclosure, circa 50m long by 45m wide, which is situated on the southwest facing slopes of a spur. The morphology of the cropmarks suggests a prehistoric or Romano-British date.
