A dark curvilinear cropmark, interpreted as having formed over a levelled ditch, circa 2m wide, is visible on oblique aerial photographs taken in 1989. The partial cropmark has been interpreted as evidence of a possible prehistoric barrow, although some caution should be exercised, and it is also possible that the cropmark is of agricultural or geological origin.

Griffith, F. M., 26/06/1989, DAP/MN, 6 (Aerial Photograph). SDV294219.

Circular dark mark diameter circa 20 metres. Recorded as a cropmark in 1989 to the east of the River Yealm. Site of a possible Prehistoric barrow.
