Hut circle is situated within a large unenclosed stone hut circle settlement terraced into the hillslope. Simple plan and single orthostat walling type. The interior measures 2.9 metres in diameter and is defined by a 1.2 metres wide wall standing up to 0.3 metres high.

Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1950, SX57SE20, SX67SE20 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV276586.

Visited on 16th June 1980. Centred at SX58587244 is an open settlement of 39 huts covering nearly 5 hectares of a heather-covered south-west slope between 360 metres and 388 metres OD. Some huts are densely overgrown and in poor condition but all appear to be of Type 2.
