Full description
Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV1142.
(redgrave) large scatter of flint + chert artefacts found while fieldwalking between 1995-1999 in field nos 278-279 on the tithe apportionment. The assemblage included seven arrowheads, awls, scrapers, cores, blades + flakes (worksheet).

Amendment: a total of 1133 pieces collected (349 flint and 784 chert) including flint: 29 blades, 58 scrapers, 3 awls, 1 arrowhead, 1 notched blade, 2 notched flakes, 53 cores; chert: 50 blades, 68 scrapers, 22 notched, 1 awl, 25 cores, 1 hammerstone (pearce).
