Full description
Exeter Museums Archaeological Field Unit, 1993, Untitled Source (Archive - Survey). SDV338457.
A scatter of Prehistoric flints was collected from spoilheaps of soil around this gravel quarry. A total of 329 pieces was collected of which 239 are flint and 90 chert. The flint group includes 23 scrapers, 27 blades of which 1 was notched, 1 arrowhead (plus 1 possible arrowhead), 1 polished flake, 1 twin bulb. The chert artefacts included 3 scrapers, 5 blades and 1 notched blade.
