A scatter of prehistoric flints was collected by n. Pearce in this small field east of membury castle (tm 98 : castle nap). A total of 36 pieces was collected of which 25 are flint and 11 chert. The group includes flint: 5 blades, 1 scraper, 1 possible knife (emafu).
