Summary
A scatter of prehistoric flints was collected from this field by n. Pearce (tm 383 : nimcroft). A total of 350 pieces was collected of which 114 are flint, 235 chert and one portland chert. The group includes flint: 14 scrapers, 7 blades, 1 awl, 1 notched; chert: 9 scrapers, 16 blades, 2 awls, 7 notched, 1 hammerstone and one stone flake (?) (emafu).
