Full description
Anderson, I. K., 1906, 11th Report of the Dartmoor Exploration Committee, 101-113 (Article in Serial). SDV337055.
One of a group of about 94 hut circles at watern oak. Hut 37; diameter 3 metres. A good circle. Entrance at north, fireplace at east, a piece of flint was found.

Visited in 1992. Hut circle terraced into the hillslope. Simple plan and single orthostat wall type. The interior measures 2.7 metres in diameter and is defined by a 1.3 metres wide wall standing up to 0.8 metres high. The doorway faces north. Excavations by the Dartmoor Exploration Committee in 1905 revealed a fireplace against the east wall and flint.
