Full description
Anderson, I. K., 1906, 11th Report of the Dartmoor Exploration Committee, 110, Hut 56 (Article in Serial). SDV337055.
Hut circle of a group of about 94 at Watern Oke. Hut 56; internal diameter 16 feet (4.88m). Poorly constructed, entrance at south, fireplace at north-west. Considerable number of cooking stones found as well as flints.

(1992) SX 5648 8335 Hut circle terraced into hillslope. Simple plan and single orthostat type. Internal diameter 5.7m. Wall 1.4m wide, 0.9m high. Large number of loose rubble blocks lie within north-east part of structure. Doorway to south. The 1905 excavations revealed a fireplace against north-west wall, a considerable number of cooking stones and flints.
