A scatter of prehistoric flints was collected here by N. Pearce. Most of the collection came from the northern half of the field (TM 1869 : North Down) where 49 pieces (26 flint & 23 chert) were found. This group included a flint arrowhead and flint axe, 4 chert blades and 3 chert scrapers. A further 4 pieces of worked flint were found in the southern half of the field (TM 1868 : North Down).
