A scatter of prehistoric flints was found in this field (tm 603 : barns close) by n. Pearce. A total of 59 pieces was found (27 flint, 32 chert) including flint: 3 scrapers, 2 blades (serrated?), 1 leaf-shaped arrowhead; chert: 2 scrapers, 1 blade (emafu).
