A scatter of prehistoric flints was collected by n. Pearce in this field (tithe map number 989 : 8 acre). A total of 78 pieces was collected of which 46 are flint and 32 chert. The group includes flint: 9 scrapers, 7 blades, 1 awl; chert: 2 scrapers, 3 blades, 3 notched flakes (emafu).
